Gadget Detection

overview gadget detection is done by secure wfh to ensure that agents are not using their mobile phones to take pictures of customer information or otherwise using their mobile phones while they should be working we recommend only changing the "common" settings w/out guidance from tetherfi support feature settings common trs gadget detection enabled enable gadget detection default true trs mobile violation timeout timespan in seconds during which a gadget must be continuously detected after which a gadget detected event is raised default 1 0 feature settings for client prior to version 5 2 object detector v1 modelthreshold threshold for object detector default 0 4 object detector v1 model confidence confidence for object detector above which a positive identification is done default 0 5 object detector v1 model runfrequency run frequency for object detector in milliseconds default 300 object detector v1 model swaprgb 1 = enable the feature, 0 = disable object detector v1 model enabled 1 = enable the feature, 0 = disable object classification detector model runfrequency run frequency for object classification detector default 500 trs objects to detect comma separated list of values of objects to detect (contact tetherfi support for guidance on other values) default cellphone trs ensemble objects to exclude contact tetherfi support for guidance on values default false trs boundingboxes enabled enables drawing of the bounding box around the gadget detected which caused the violation to be triggered default true when bounding boxes features is enabled in ocm, the green box appears around the gadget that was detected this helps in identifying valid vs invalid detections and agreeing/disagreeing to the violation object detection parameters – usage starting from swfh client version 5 2 swfh objects to detect with confidence (new) – the client will look for objects to detect for the “gadget detect” event and the confidence for each from this parameter each object to detect and its confidence is specified in a list of key\ value pairs for example {"cellphone" 0 65, "objectx";0 7} swfh use object detector for person (new) – this parameter determines the criteria used for “no face” and “multiface” events the default criteria are to look for a “face” however, if this parameter is checked, the presence of a “person” within the video frame will be considered sufficient this prevents the generation of “no face” events if a person has their head turned sideways or is down object detector v3 model confidence – this parameter is not used if swfh use object detector for person is unchecked, i e a “face” is the criteria for “no face” and “multiface” events however, when this parameter is checked, the value from this parameter is used for “person” detection confidence
