overview features control what capabilities of tetherfi's secure work from home solution should be enabled and how those features should behave features are assigned by grouping them into feature templates and assigning those feature templates to appropriate levels of the organizational structure (e g team a should have these features while team b has a different set of features) feature templates groups of feature settings which are associated with some level of organizational structure (team, department, division) secure work from home users (agents, supervisors) associated with that organizational structure have the feature settings in the associated feature template assigned to that specific organizational structure features specific settings which either enable/disable a feature or control how that feature behaves in the following subsections, the many different feature settings are grouped into multiple areas according to what type of authentication/detection (e g face authentication) or configuration (e g watermarking) they control managing feature templates to manage feature templates, open ocm (operation control manager) and click on the admin modules button in the upper right (icon looks like a computer screen) then select agent then click on templates if you don't see this on your menu, then it is likely that your user has not been granted access to this module once you open templates, you will see something like the below note the templates admin module is used across tetherfi's suite of products tetherfi secure work from home only uses 2 of the many tabs available templates and template features you can safely ignore the other tabs on this screen creating a new template in order to specify the secure work from home features which a given set of agents will have, you need to start by creating a new template this is done by clicking on the "add new templates record" button note before you can create a new template, you will need to have created your organizational structure since the template must be associated with some node in your org structure for more information, see organizational structure docid\ fnzhj8 4t7 brpyyswkzt when you click on this button, the following window will appear select the appropriate org unit from your organizational structure and give your template an appropriate name you can pick any entry from the team options list note that secure work from home does not make use of themes, so it does not matter what you select here important note a user (agent or supervisor) uses the features within the template that is closest above them in the organizational hierarchy for example assume that i am an agent on team a which is part of department x situation 1 team a has template "team a template" assigned to it, while department x has "department x template" assigned to it i will get the features associated with team a template assigned to me when i start up the secure work from home application situation 2 team a does not have a template assigned to it, while department x has "department x template" assigned to it i will get the features associated with department x template since it is the closest template above me so, it would be possible to create 1 template that would be used by all agents by creating that template at the top of your company's organizational hierarchy and creating no other templates further down in the hierarchy setting a template's features once you have create a template (or to edit an existing template's features), click on the template features tab, search for the template by name, and click on the edit button on the left of the desired template record in the list when you click on the edit button for a template, you will be presented with a window similar to the following each feature is made up of 3 parts feature select checkbox to add this feature to the template, click on this checkbox feature setting name this is the name of the feature the following subsections reference these feature settings and are grouped by function (e g features having to do with face authentication) feature value some (not all) feature settings have a related value (alphabetic or numeric depends on the setting) the feature value field only shows up if the checkbox for that feature is checked the feature value field has no validation refer to the feature subsections for specifics once you have set / updated the desired feature settings, click save note that you must enter a value in modify reason in order to save this is for the purposes of auditing changes made to settings activating feature setting changes as soon as you save changes to a given feature template, those changes become available to agents to whom they apply important however, in order for a logged in agent to be impacted by a feature setting change, they must log out and back in to their secure work from home application the application only refreshes feature settings on login
